Default Publisher 2000 hyphenation

Hi Tony,
That option changes hyphenation permanently. If you want hyphenation per present
text box the option is Tools, Language. I still have 2000 installed with the
hyphenation option off, it stays off for every publication.

Thank you Mary. I had forgotten that, having found it once before but I think
you still have to do that each time you open Publisher i.e. it doesn't change
the default setting.

Tools, Options, Edit tab, clear "Automatically hyphenate in new text frames"

Is it possible to change the global default hyphenation setting in Publisher
2000 from "On" to "Off" or is it necessary to do this in every text box?
