I need to send invites to people in different time zone from where I am as
the meetings will take place in the recipients time zone. how do I do it?
Do I need to just i.e., meeting at 10am Tokyo time should be sent from US
Eastern time zone showing 1am?

If Tokyo is nine hours ahead of Eastern time, then yes. It can be easer if
you add an extra time zone to your calendar.
