Dear Andrea. I don't know how it works in the Mac version, but in the
Win version "available styles" is a misleading term in Word. It
doesn't show all available styles but merely the ones that have been
checked. To display, select "Custom Styles" and find the Footer Style
in the list, likely cleared. Tick the box and you'r in business. HTH,
