Default "Can't find soffice.exe"

soffice.exe is a Star/Open Office file.

I suspect your file associations have gotten messed up. The info at http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00355.htm explains how to set them back to PowerPoint.

Hi there,

For some unknown (at least to me, of course) reason when I double click a powerpoint file, (blah.ppt) I receive the mesage 'Can't find soffice.exe'. I'm using PowerPoint 2002 on Windows 2000, running on an IBM Pentium II Lap top.

Any ideas ?

Do I need to re-install Power Point ?

regards,

Brad
