Default Specific printer setting not saved in Access 2007

I did find some issues with the default printer in this newsgroup for Access
2000, but I seemed to be having the opposite problem with 2007. I just
assumed that such an old 2000 bug couldn't possibly find its way into 2007..
appearently I'm wrong.

The website you point to says, "[wait for SP1]", but it looks to me like
this particular bug (I never encountered it when using 2000 myself) has no
hope of ever being addressed.

Yes, this is a known bug in Access 2007. We have it listed he

Hopefully MS will fix this when the release Service Pack 1 for A2007.

I have an old Access 2000 project (which connects to an SQL database). I
have
several reports that need to go to a specific printer. I am now using
Access
2007. When I change the printer from default to specific in the page
layout
for the report, the change is not saved (even though I specifically save
the
report), it reverts back to the default printer setting. When I first
opened
this project on 2007 it complained (since that printer, although it's the
same printer, has a different driver on Vista) and I changed it, but it's
not
saving the change.

Under Access 2000, I had this setup so that once you launched the report
from a form, you could click on a print button (from a custom toolbar
which
seems to have disappeared when running on 2007) and in one click it would
print off to the correct printer. Now when you click the print button, you
get the print dialog and have to change the printer (every time).

How do I get my one-click print back?
