Default Win95 Fax Software

Outlook 97 and 98 replaced that old Exchange client--and needed to. That
client couldn't even negotiate with many POP3/SMTP servers. They retain the
ability to handle full MAPI transports and so they integrate just fine with
Microsoft Fax.
If you install Outlook 98, make sure you use Corp/Workgroup mode so that you
will have full MAPI capability. Also, pay attention to the order in which
you install things in order to keep Fax working. You should find ample

Yes, exactly. Unless I had it (Outlook 98) installed incorrectly,
there was no fax function to it. Am I mistaken? Does Outlook 98
have a fax function like Exchange?

The only reason I have not re-installed Outlook 98 is that I am
afraid it will erase/override the fax function in Exchange. Do
you know if this is the case?
