Excel pivot table, numbers are reverting to dates format

eThe numbers in my pivot tables suddenly started to revert to dates format on

I am not sure if circular reference applies or not.
I am not exactly shure if this will work in Excel but this is the logic in

Here is the logic of what i am trying to do;

IF cell C1 cell D1 then cell D1 equals cell C1 otherwise cell D1 remains
unchanged
also

Yes but by default it shows all. What Im looking for is to only display
matching criteria hopefully limiting possibilities of mis-selection. The
above post appears to fit the bill, but I have not...

Dynamic filtering

What I want to create is a dynamic filter that will narrow down your choices
as you type in a combo box.

I.E. The selection narrows as you type "a" will display all that starts with
"a".
